"Autumn Sun began it's incarnation as a public painting demonstration, it shows a regular scene, for me, that of Stourbridge Common, Cambridge, where cows are allowed to graze and freely roam. Capturing the warm light as the cows stand in a cooler shade summed up a typical sight and I loved to work with the oranges and browns of the season and set them off with cool blues."
